Predator Free Waihī Beach
Help bring back the birdsong to Waihī Beach. Thanks to our work with the Waihī Beach Environmental Society, the dawn chorus is stronger than ever.
Waihī Beach Water Refill Stations
Our first big win: 12 water refill stations across the beach where you can top up your reusable bottle and keep it plastic-free! So far, we’ve kept a huge 85,000 bottles out of the landfill – and we’re just getting started!

Grab an ipu rāpihi | bucket at any of our five super convenient Community Beach Clean Pods and hit the beach for your own clean-up adventure! We’ve already slashed beach litter by an amazing 73% since we launched the pods!
Te Rūma Kākāriki
A unique platform for local businesses and organisations to unite and commit to enhancing their sustainable practices, this initiative has laid a strong foundation for long-term positive change.
Don’t Be a SUCker Cup Cycle
We’ve rolled out super cool compostable single-use cup (SUC) recycling bins. The best part? Local students from our kura | school collect the coffee cups, turn them into compost, and use them to nourish our kura community garden.
